Getting Around

The easiest ways to get to Arashiyama are by the JR San-in Main Line from Kyoto Station to Saga Station, or via the Keifuku Electric Railway to Arashiyama Station, which is just south of Saga Station. You can also take the scenic truck train, a fine way to view the river gorge.
